Trending @Cognizant; Status of Promotion from PA to A?
Hi all, Can someone please help me to get an idea which of the below is correct? As I have completed 2 years with cognizant in august 2024.
- Is cts promoting after 2 years with all the new rules and regulations? 2 or the criteria of promotion from PA to A is changed to 3 years.
This is very confusing as I have seen multiple posts on these two options. I am not sure which one to trust.
Also my manager is not giving any lead on the current status. Thanks
I don't think even after 3 years also they will promote. They don't have budget. Because I have completed 3 years now and my nomination got rejected 3 times by BU. I don't think they will promote in this quarter also. So, don't expect or wait for completing 3 years or 4 years, they are just fooling us.
As per my understanding there is no proper criteria even if there is they can change their policy anytime so it really doesn't matter. For example I am in project with rating of 4 and 2.6 years of experience but still didn't get promoted to A from PA. Whereas some of my mate got promoted with rating of 3 while in bench.
Agree, I too have came across so many people who are not even promoted after getting 4 rating.
