Statements From CEO and their actual truth

I recently saw a statement from Cognizant CEO saying "30% of their code is written by AI". I'm working in Cognizant and I don't understand this.

Cognizant is a consulting company and 90% of the code written by their employees is for their cleints. So it's actually the client's code. Assuming he is referring to 10% of code written to maintain their internal applications, Now how did he calculate this number? "written by AI" in the sense does he also includes co-pilot's code completions happening in the dev's VS code?

But in reality they have a company wide block on chatgpt, deepseek etc etc. I can't even access these websites nor install co-pilot extension. To get access I have to submit a form which requires Director's approval. I'm a senior manager and this is the case for me. imagine a dev's position. Getting director's approval is also not an easy process.
