Startups with no FTEs 🚩?

I’ve seen many startups posting lucrative internship opportunities with above market stipend & exciting JD. But, when I check their linkedin page, they barely have any FTEs, is it a red flag or am I overthinking too much?

Red Flag for sure. Stay away.

Many Indian YC companies. FastJobs, Qoohoo, Miho to name a few.

These are very early stage startups. They have very little funds, they try to hire many interns and give FTE only to the people that are very good in performance and knowledge. I was also part of an early stage startup (YC based). My suggestion would be join as an intern only if you are in third year or below

Its not necessary that all FTEs have accurately updated their Linkedin? Some choose not to. Why dont you ask the interviewer about the FTE count?
