Startup vs TCS
Hey all, I had an offer from a startup as a Data Engineer. At the same time I also had an offer from TCS as a Systems Engineer. As I am a 2023 graduate who has seen the initial worst phases of recession, I decided to join TCS for better job security and future.Also, the offered package was 5LPA from the startup. Now the RMG and the Delivery Manager of a project have manipulated me into joining the project saying that they have better application of data related technologies. Actually, this is a testing project. When I joined and the client SSO id got generated I asked for release because I wanted to work in a data/python project. They are refusing to release and I got stuck here. Sometimes I think of the decisions I made..🙂👍

Yeah, the same things happened to me. Started as an automation QA without my choice and regardless of my skills set. I was very good at programming, cybersecurity, development and all. After joining tcs i lost my skills, because daily I had to work more than 9 hrs and did not get a chance to retain my skills. Now I feel like a dumb person, and this is why I am not even able to make a switch to other company.
Just feeling like I have ruined my career by joining tcs.
Maybe some people feel good about tcs, but in my case my career is ruined.

Try making ur profile digital profile by wings1 . Mean while utilise udemy , hackathons , milestone related to ur interest field. Don't loose ur zeal, keep preparing and make a shift.
I come under Digital Profile, grade C1. If I move to the innovator profile, will I get released?. If so, how to step up to the innovator..?
Leave ASAP and as for u don’t need to worry about recession if u want to grow because if u afraid now then how u will handle when u will 10 plus experience
