Indian startup CEOs don't understand CoS roles. (generalisation but largely true).

This ends up being a glorified PA role rather than being an EA role which it should.

The intent is to be close to the action, power center and decision making and contributing via managing key programs and providing structured internal feedback - but there is limited learning because the experience is taking notes, managing calendars and other sundry low value activities.
