[startup idea] dating app but with a reviews/testimonials section

So sharks....

It would include reviews from the people they have matched or dated with.

I think such an app would be more trustworthy.

would you invest or use it ?

Lol, what's next? A CV? Cover letter? 20 slide presentation?

Matched with Gutka Mukesh today. Pretty sweet guy, but I didn’t understand most of what he was saying. 6/10.

Bro moderation will be a bitch and the platform will be too susceptible to bullying/harassment. Never build altruistic products in the consumer space. It does not work.

I've thought about it in a professional context as well with personal reviews for ex colleagues. Difficult to determine what is slander and truth though.

Dating is 1-1 mapping I might like someone where as other 90% people can hate that guy/girl, not because he is not likeable or something so it would not work

Easy way to publically harass someone. People tend to believe things they hear/read and won't bother validating. Say my profile is targetted by a bunch, I have to either take down my profile or embrace the hate. I'd say if you can ensure authentic comments, sure I can see it being a reality :)
