Hi! For context I’m working in sales for past 6+ years in Adtech/ Martech in decent organisations and I’m making 24L CTC currently. I always planned to pivot from sales to marketing roles (FMCG) or business related roles and have decided to go for an MBA to make this possible. I am targeting 1 year MBA program from IIM A/ ISB.
I plan to do self study and need guidance on how I should start preparing, reading materials, etc.
Start with a diagnostic test to gauge your strengths and weaknesses. Focus on CAT/GMAT preparation materials such as Arun Sharma for CAT or Official GMAT Guide. Dedicate daily time for Quant, Verbal, and Data Interpretation. Practice mock tests regularly, analyze mistakes and track improvement. For ISB applications, work on essays and gather impactful professional stories.
