Started with excitement, ended in silence: Apple Interview Experience
About 1.5 months ago, I began interviewing with Apple for an SRE role I was genuinely excited about. I cleared the first two rounds — the first was an elimination round, and the second went really well. The interviewer even praised my work, and we had a great conversation around how I could work on certain areas to transition into a senior role. I left that call feeling hopeful and motivated.
Rounds 3 and 4 were scheduled for two consecutive days — but then got rescheduled. Once. Then twice. Then a third time. I was told to wait for a week. Then another. It’s now been over a month of no communication.
I reached out to the recruiter twice. The first time, I was told, "We’ll get back to you." The second time, I got a vague response: "Something has changed, we’ll get back to you."
What made things harder was seeing that the same recruiter posted the position again on LinkedIn just 4 days ago, and I came across 2-3 more similar posts about the same SRE role. That honestly felt disheartening.
I understand things change, but the lack of clarity and communication through this process has been disappointing.
I was thinking of confronting the recruiter? Is that a good idea? Or i should move on and focus on other opportunities.

Don't get emotionally attached to companies and opportunities. Getting invested in things that aren't entirely under our control leads to potential situations of feeling despair. Say Jo hota hai ache k liye hota hai and vigorously grab next great opportunity

Thank You. This is probably the right thing to do.

Try to grab the next opportunity and all the best Also can you please share the process and what all topics to expect in SRE interviews?
