Started Rust: Right choice ?

I'm a Golang developer (backend dev) who has 1.5 years of experience who recently started learning Rust and I've gone through the syntax part, ownership, borrowing and created a thread, module and but didn't know what type of things to learn or project to build which help me in getting a job easily (I mean with less competition). Starred Rust because very few people are working on it and it's different from others and similar to Golang like comparison wise. I thought that there would be less competition and a good salary. If a person is having 2-2.5 YoE from Golang background will he be able to get a good salary with less competition as compared to other languages. Professionally will It help me ?

Then why focus on it when market demand is of different technologies.

I think the question should be is this the technology where everyone is going to pump money? Likely no. There is no real advantage for everyone to dump what they are doing and use Rust.

Pick tech, languages which matter and are either picking demand or are already in demand.

Above is just a suggestion.

On a side note no knowledge hurts but the thing is we have a finite amount of time.
