Standard Chartered Bank - Java

Hi folks, was curious in knowing about working at Standard Chartered Bank Bangalore location for business unit “Financial Markets” - my brother has got an offer for Band 6 with non-Indian manager (trade related application)

I have a few questions around the same:

• How is the culture?
• Are people kind and helpful?
• Did some digging and found online that SC is not giving hikes to everyone - lot of people didn’t get anything in last few years? Is that true? If so, what is the criteria in getting hikes every year?
• Are Indian managers toxic? Let’s say if it’s changed at some point..
• What is the normal time when people login/logout be it from office or home considering Java based Project?
• Is variable pay (yearly bonus) paid normally ?
