SSE Salary Check
Folks, I hold 3.5 years of experience in software engineering and earn 32LPA (fixed) with some bonus and ESOPs.
What do you think about my CTC as per market standards?

So it is around the median I would say, I am getting a fixed TC of 40 at 3 years but I am not getting any ESOPs and only got the joining bonus so it is more or less around the industry Standard.
Can a 30+ age person make fresh start in above mentioned kind of career and past work experience is Non-IT., Any views please.
I switched to IT after 6 years in construction. Salary was matched to what I was making there and a bonus on top of that. Lowballed by IT standards but let's see how the appraisal goes..
In short, you can move but make sure you like the coding and building systems.
It depends. If you are considered as a cream part of tech team than it is okay. Otherwise they'll get the work done and one day you'll be part of the layoffs.
