SRK's acting is mid
I have seen fanboys and girls going crazy over the Khans and Roshans and TBH, there only selling point is they are handsome. In respect of acting, we have much classy actors who never got their share of respect. They can adapt any role and give the best damn acting ever. Examples : Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal & Vijay Raaz. These guys can eat all kinds of big stars in acting anyday but still they are given supporting roles which is really unfair. And I understand that Khans have the capacity to sell tickets over these guys but I feel these underrated guys still need to get their due.

You are right. But there is a difference between the set of people being compared.
SRK, Salman, Roshan all these people are considered as Stars.
Whereas Boman, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz are considered are actors.
The major difference here is that stars bring stardom which pulls audiences to big screens and triggers box office numbers, Actors brings art to the story, they bring characters to life.
India has a very different audience base and majority of them enjoy commercial entertainment and hence Khans thrive.

Being the main actor or the side actor has nothing to do with acting. It purely depends on your ability to get more audience to the cinemas. Although actors like Boman Irani are fantastic and deserve acclaim, nobody is going spend upwards of ₹300 to watch a movie that they are the main characters in. As for SRK’s acting goes, he can pull it off on the rare occasion that he gets a good script, such as My Name Is Khan, Swades, Veer Zara, etc. But his ability to get the audiences to the cinemas has more to do with than just his acting.

I watched Pathaan in the theatre. It felt a somewhat of a waste of money. I watched Jawan at home, it felt the same. Then I decided to watch SRKs old films. Unlike his now super-macho man figure, his movies like Swades and Chak De India were so good. I guess, only his true fans would enjoy his films now. Otherwise, the movies might suck for you.
He is really great actor... makes you laugh, cry and feel every emotion... that's the JD... he is actually very average looking than his peers... has worked in theater, tv and movies... he is good businessman too...
