
Trending @Infosys; South Indian managers are useless they always favour South Indians.
I've completed more than 2 years in infosys and am working in a very difficult project playing a key role eligible for the SSE role I've pinged my useless manager multiple times and she is not even responding. Can someone suggest what I can do in this situation.

These things happen in all companies,but don't be demotivated with this. Try to switch to look for a better opportunity in the market.

The first option is switched, otherwise drop an email the manager I want to get released from this project and also keep HR and Unit Anchor in cc. Reason looking for another project for better career growth. If manager said we can't release then ask for progression/promotion. If your 30% work matters in your current project, they will give you a hike. This conversation anything happens it will always positive for you.

Simple process drop a mail to the immediate reporting manager(Delivery manager )with context as 1-1 meeting for 30minutes .. Ask him for his availability.. Discuss the challenges with him over meeting .. Mostly will get resolved . Chances would happen he might add your current manager in the meeting .. Only say manager is unreachable and you are looking for progression / promotion opportunity request to nominate your name 🙃 Works mostly
If not then try applying for IJP opportunity
If still not working then try switching, don’t wait for opportunity to hit .. Find your dream .. 😇

Not true my south managers are very supportive

It’s human nature nothing to with south/north/east/West Indian. Most likely you are not collocated with the managers whereas others are. If manager only going by language he will not be manager for long. He has to run the project he needs performers else project will go to the dogs. Instead of pinging drop him an email if still not responding cc his manager

Man/woman , north/south , worked under them all, all managers are toxic/useless/sadists/apathic.
