Sonet Automatic HTX 1.0Turbo petrol DCT
Guys, Anyone driving this car for more than 1-2 years. I am planning to purchase the same. My running will be 70% city 30% highway.
In terms of safety, driving experience and fuel efficiency how is the sonet performing?
Any suggestions are also welcomed.
I have a Sonet GTX+ DCT Petrol that I've been driving for 1.5 years now. No issues, driven 14.5k KM so far, with 2k KM on long journeys and off roading.
I get around 18-22 KMPL on highways depending on the road quality (tending towards 22 if using cruise mode) and within city I get around 7-13 KMPL depending on road conditions.
No accidents apart from minor scratches (inevitable in city traffic). Ride quality is amazing, but I do miss manual gear stick being a heavy driver.
My suggestion would be to run in ECO mode all the time, it gives most fuel efficiency, and can go until 100 KMPH speed in ECO mode itself. Sports mode will totally drain the fuel almost twice faster than normal mode though, so avoid it unless you're off roading.
