Someone explain to me like a child, how to get the mediAssist cashless admission facility?

There is a customer support number for medibuddy. Call them they will explain you like a child.

Ignore button needed. Agar usse problem solve hoti to yahan puchna nahi padta

They helped me via call and clarified all my questions. Their job is to clarify you.
If you prefer to have a stranger explain to you the whole steps in text, good luck brother.
if your hospital is a network hospital, they would have a separate POC in that hospital itself to help you with all the details.
If it is a planned surgery, then 3 days advance notice is needed for cashless.
Step 1 - check if your hospital is listed on HIS portal.
Step 2 - go to cashless option and fill all your details with support medical document and your doctor name.
Note - fill the forms on his 3 days prior to getting hospitalisation else 10% penalty will be charged and you have to copay more amount.
Step 3 - go to the hospital get admitted, every hospital has an insurance team they will come to you and you don’t have to do anything. Just lay down get your surgery done.
Step 4 - 7.5% of total amount should be payed by you. Remember few things are not included in insurance like materials they will use while doing the surgery.
That’s it. Pay the remaining bill go home peacefully.
Just to give you an instance
Last month I had a surgery, costed around 80k. I payed something around 8500. Apart from surgery equipment. No hassle nothing to worry about

Thanks @Enchanter404 this was helpful

Check the hospital if it's in network hospital. Based on doctor recommendation get admitted in hospital. Keep child ecard with you. And inform via tcs email to HIS support team. If it's planned hospitalization get preauthorization apporval from mediassist

That's what I want to know the steps for- planned hospitalization.
All HIS contact points are unhelpful, mails getting bounced from most of the email addresses too.
Hospital I can confirm is a network hospital.
Do I need to wait for any confirmation from HIS before admitting the patient to hospital, get the treatment authorised??
