Some south Indians consider themselves Baap of TCS
I was working for a re insurance client, the mentor was south indian girl and architect was also south Indian. In one of the meeting i heard that he loves to roast the team members. Highly third class, crab mentality, and toxic environment it was.
My mentor was a girl and she was south Indian. This discrimination i had heard in other organisations but i endured in TCS in that project.
Sometime felt very bad those freshers who were working under them. What the hell they will learn and lead the TCS in future.
Are south Indians are toxic?
I heard this in different in manner north indian managers only support the freshers from north india.they always appreciate only north people.
That doesn’t mean all north indians are chuthiyaa..
Depends up on people and their mentality.
BTW you are big chutiya for discriminating all this with north and south.

Partialy, particularly some senior tamilians behave as if it is their own company, others are adhoc workers
It could be individual mentality not a regional mentality boss
Hey Im from the south and I was facing direct ulta of what you had faced. I was a fresher who had language issues and had a lot of difficulty in understanding during KT days and all. So dont be all like south indians are toxic nobody is perfect south, north, east or west😂. We all work under the same service company this is what you can expect.
PS: this is not about everyone i have had north indian teammates who have greatly helped me to skill up

Toxic is a very wide term and it is there ACROSS THE GLOBE. There is no such origin point only this geography has more toxic folks. In my experience I worked under more than 2 toxic managers who are from north india (within TCS) and Canada. I can’t call that geography as toxic.
Not learning new skills, don’t putting ourselves in a non comfort zone will turn people as toxic. It is based in people.
