Some RMG in TCS don’t bother about skill set or aspiration match with the project
There is a RMG in TCS Bhubaneswar for the BFSI unit who literally don’t have any care about the associate’s technical skill set and aspiration. I felt somehow its rude to the junior associates who are coming with lot of expectations with respect to learn and grow. All this will result to the waste of time and un relevant pressure on a human to work on something forcefully. We can not expect from a fridge to show us some pictures or we can not expect from a television to cool our room. Similarly all the associates reporting to RMG are engineers with respect to some skill set or interest in learning something. Due to this power of position and ego of the RMGs the allocation time will be wasted. The associate will not get any help or skill up opportunity and at the end the feedback for through out the year will be ruined. All these just due to some ego.

Some people are bad in this world doesn’t mean everyone is bad in the world. By the way it’s just 15 days I am reporting to her so she is not telling me anything but may be after 1 month somehow she will start asking

I have argued so much with this lady and still landed up on the unwanted project. Now all I do the whole day is merge cells in excel.
Sad. Asking just to know. In this case why we can not escalate to TCS Care?
Because TCS DOES NOT CARE. No use of arguing with them. They always backup the RMG and HR. They say why we signed the offer letter when it was mentioned we have to work in any given condition unless and until we are alive and in this company. RMGs forward cases to HRs who then start sending warning letters and cease pay. The whole company is like this only.
I have seen this case happening for 16+ years experience person. Forget about juniors or freshers, people who have been long part of this industry, even their aspirations are not considered. So freshers or juniors wont matter to them much on a serious note....
