Solv’s Big Shake-Up: What They Don’t Want You to Know

Looks like the previous thread on the Solv-Jumbotail partnership and all the confirmed updates rattled quite a few people, forcing its removal. Not sure if it was the exposure of Solv’s system flaws, operational failures, or the still-to-be-finalized M&A that triggered this, but one thing is clear—there’s more to this story than what’s being told.

But let’s be real—these flaws need to be exposed for the sake of investors (old and new) and the genuine employees fighting against the rampant nepotism in the commerce sales team. So stay tuned, because more revelations are coming in this thread. Watch this space!

With Solv now in transition mode, hopefully, Jumbotail steps in to clear out the unethical practices that have seeped into the system across all functions and starts improving processes. There are a few critical areas that need immediate and extensive review:

Logistics: The vehicle allocation process needs thorough validation. There’s clear bias in how allocations are made, benefiting certain decision-makers.

Commerce Sales (Supply & Demand): The last 6-9 months’ GMV vs. Deliverance needs deep scrutiny. A significant portion of these orders—possibly 50%—were never actually executed, as both supply and demand teams have been inflating numbers with dummy orders.

Advance Payment Pending: Investigating pending advance payments will expose how genuine these orders really are. The demand team is known for favoring those who comply with senior leader’s push for fake order execution. Honest employees are left sidelined, which is completely unfair.

Jumbotail is about to open Pandora’s box, and it’s much needed. Hopefully, they bring in proper structure and transparency, as so far, Solv has been running like an Excel-sheet-driven organization. Time for a real cleanup!

How sure are you about the merger !! The founder Karthik from JT denied it saying it a speculation!!

Let’s be honest . The system is rotten right from the top. This includes the Financial Services division also.Hope Jumbotail is able to spot the non deserving fraudsters gaming the system there as well.

Now that the acquisition of Solv by Jumbotail is officially confirmed, hoping those who were in denial finally see that all the earlier buzz was 100% accurate—unfortunately, that thread was forced to be removed.

Interestingly, a select few employees have received a transition retention bonus, with letters already sent out. What’s surprising is that this wasn’t extended to the other 95% of employees. Wonder what the criteria were for this selection.

Glad to see the first official release finally out today, putting an end to all the speculation—especially for the naysayers who doubted it. Now, it’s time to look ahead and hope the synergies between both companies drive them to leadership in the shrinking B2B space.

Interestingly, the official statement highlights that JT pursued this deal primarily for the lifestyle categories, which should be a solid addition to their platform. However, beyond business growth, there’s a pressing need for accountability. The issues raised earlier in this thread still stand, and once a deep dive is conducted, a lot of hidden realities will come to light. Thorough scrutiny of past operations is necessary, and those responsible must be held accountable.

Hoping for the best—especially for the hardworking employees who truly deserve a fair and transparent system.

Happy to see that Solv management has rolled out a fair and reasonable hike for all employees—something you rarely see during a company’s transition. Kudos to the SC Board and Gautam Jain for ensuring stability and not letting people go astray. A much-needed positive step!
