Solution for spamming questions
Whenever I open Grapevine, in recent section, I see the same question getting repeated multiple times because the user chose to post in multiple channels.
If they posted in 9 channels, I will see the question 9 times, continuously, which isn't a very good user experience.
One solution could be
- Maintain a master question
User flow while creating a post,
Create a post > select all channels where you want to post. (Limit it to 5)
Then the post will appear as a single post with all the channels attached to it.
When anyone posts a reply from a different channel, that shows up as a reply along with the channel from which they posted ( or this can be removed).
5 is too many, posting should be limited to 3 channels max.
Also, there was a bug in this app, where same post was getting posted 3-4 times in the same channel !!! There is no duplicate check apparently, like if you try posting exact same post in twitter, it stops you, but here it allows, and in fact it used to automatically duplicate post
