Solo Trip/Trek recommendation in North around Dec end.
26M planning my first solo trip/trek in North India around end of December (5–6 days max). Budget: 30k–50k. I’m open to joining group travel/trek batches too.
Shortlisted options:
- Udaipur/Jaipur/Jaisalmer
- Spiti Valley (group trip)
- McLeodganj + Triund
- Dayara Bugyal Trek
- Sethan (Manali)
I’m really confused between these. Looking for something safe, beginner-friendly, fun, and ideally with winter vibes. Also, please suggest some good group travel/trek companies for solo travellers.

Did Mcleodganj+triund few years back around the same time Camped at triund on Christmas overnight as well, was a great experience. In 5-6 days you can club bir billing or Dalhousie along with it as well.
Avoid mountains in Dec. Can get stuck in snow. Jaipur Udaipur is better choice
Shimla is crowded af, spiti is epic. But it's risky in Dec
Blindly go to Spiti....
Kheerganga should be nice, Triund is a bit harder
