Solo Trip/Trek recommendation in North around Dec end.

26M planning my first solo trip/trek in North India around end of December (5–6 days max). Budget: 30k–50k. I’m open to joining group travel/trek batches too.

Shortlisted options:

  1. Udaipur/Jaipur/Jaisalmer
  2. Spiti Valley (group trip)
  3. McLeodganj + Triund
  4. Dayara Bugyal Trek
  5. Sethan (Manali)

I’m really confused between these. Looking for something safe, beginner-friendly, fun, and ideally with winter vibes. Also, please suggest some good group travel/trek companies for solo travellers.

Did Mcleodganj+triund few years back around the same time Camped at triund on Christmas overnight as well, was a great experience. In 5-6 days you can club bir billing or Dalhousie along with it as well.

Went with few friends. You can book group trek to triund from Mcleodganj online if you are a beginner in trekking. They usually provide guide, tent accommodation at triund and food for 1-2k .

Avoid mountains in Dec. Can get stuck in snow. Jaipur Udaipur is better choice
