Soham .. and the aftermath
IMHO ... Soham doesn't suck. He's probably the most honest thing to happen to hiring in years. The rest of us? Still pretending this system works.
He did exactly what companies do to candidates
- Multithreaded
- Ghosted
- Prioritized leverage
- Left when a better opportunity came along
- Took what he could, while he could And smiled through it all..
Relax. He only did to 5 companies what 1 company does to 500 candidates a week.

It's highly unethical what he did, but the companies are doing highly unethical things too. Like paying an Indian 1/10th of what they pay to a US dev.

How working for multiple firms is not ethical as long as he is not misusing the company data or not able to do what he is committing.
He’s a GOAT fr.
Many people do this and his only fault is getting caught
I heard he made 2.5L per day = 9 crore in a year - 50% salaries and taxes = 4.5 crore
I would say worth it!
Most people make this in 5 to 15 years of their life

Honestly, I don't find it completely wrong. Only maybe to a little extent. Companies do this to thousands of candidates on a daily basis. Ghosting, rejecting due to unexplainable and illogical reasons, not even replying to their job applications, undertaking, overutilising, ill management within company, company politics esp. with women and so many things. It's rightly so that the candidate or employee will and should utilise all the resources at his or her disposal. I truly understand and support such people who have the guts to go against the capitalism BS esp. in an industry like this :)

If a compamy can work for 100 clients at the same why can’t my man work for 10 companies at the same time? BTW if you’re interested in soham’s side of story, here’s an interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jmGp-nDitM

Yes E&Y India is famous at making an employee work at multiple projects at the same time.

I don’t give a sh*t whatsoever he does is totally justified. Do corporations thinks about before laying you off?

True and most organizations have a 3 month notice period. That's like a prison sentence. I wonder how that is ethical. So many people have lost interviews cause of this.

My friend once said a legendary sentence
Chor ke ghar chori kiya to paap nahi lagta
That's it I follow our very religiously

Its a wonder that people immediately call out his actions as unethical. But I see same executive as board member, advisor, CTO, holding different titles in different orgs. Why!! Because for them it's legal, the company offers framework for them to disclose this and do it openly. But when someone in lower levels do it. Suddenly it's unethical coz it's made illegal by those very same executives. How dare ye!! How dare ye do what I do? Then what's the point of me having a fancy title and getting paid big bucks? Such double standards

When we do it, it's moonlighting. When the C-suite does it, it's business as usual

where to read this complete story i am missing lot of connecting points

On twitter, there are many threads, honestly mind boggling story

read it’s crazy and more crazy is that a lot of people are now claiming that they hired him

Soham is not wrong. Soham is the revolution
