Trending @Capgemini; Sogeti Better or Other BUs
I’m new to CG. Just wanted to know the structure of how CG works ? I got a doubt that CG Sogeti folks are more technically sounded or what ? I don’t know but I just observed some special treatment for Sogeti guys. Like allocation on more complex project or Individual contribution to project etc. Please help me understand, is it really better or I’m in a misconception.

Sogeti seems to be a better BU compared to others. I've seen people thriving there. But I hope it's just BU-specific issues and not reflective of Capgemini's overall culture, where they treat employees like garbage bags - use and throw, then pick a new one at a very low salary. The practices like getting employee release from projects, forced resignations followed by PIPs are quite concerning in Capgemini.

If you get the right project and a good manager Soegti has a decent work culture and flexibility. But do not expect any hike or promotion, there are people who haven't been promoted in 5yrs here, hike are 0% to 5% for experienced folks.
