My working theory is they have another 8-10 years of working life. just the top creme will work into the 50's. the rest by choice or the lack of it, will get move out of work force.

I have a relative who was a sales director in a big MNC manufacturing. He lost is his in 2020. he was 52 at the time. Couldn't land another job. He leads is retirement life in village today. Thankfully he has enough corpus so he is at peace.
