Software Engineer in middle east, like Saudi, UAE, Quatar

I am thinking of working in middle East. Typical malayali. Yeah I'm a software Engineer. I want to know the the expenses and how much I can make their if I work my ass of there. I am just trying to find if there is some advantages in working there other than re locating to other parts of India from Kochi.

I had an offer from a relatively young startup in Abu Dhabi some months back. They were offering slightly more than 200k AED and were also going to provide accommodation and commute to the office. Since there's no income tax in Abu Dhabi, it was almost 80% hike for me when compared with in-hand figures, but the layoffs season had just begun so I decided to take another offer in India with a stable company (whose offer is quite less than that startup when you look at the in-hand figures). So if you're aiming to earn shit load of money, I'd say go ahead to the Middle East any day.
