Software engineer

It's better to have compatibility in nature rather than jobs if possible have different profession otherwise it's okay

I've heard some of my friends say that they absolutely don't want anyone from the same profession; they don't want to hear the same things in office and at home etc. However I don't think i've a problem with that. I'll in fact be very much okay with that; especially if she's working with a good company. I've somehow always felt engineers are pretty cool people; software ones even more so. <--taking a short detour--> As an experienced software developer, mostly you work on trivial things maybe some crud features which would bring some joy to the business but add hardly any value to your skills. But once in while you find yourself working on a tech problem so engaging/challenging that it ceases to be just a work thing; when that happens you don't mind working on it in your own time coz you just badly want to see things in action. At some point you're so engaged in the problem that you and the problem are almost one and you almost never notice the clock slowly moving from 4pm to 6 then to 8pm as long as the time you spend on it brings you closer to that final climax (almost orgasmic) you've been chasing all week long. <--/detour ends--> I would imagine that in such a moment it would help to have an understanding partner who shares a similar thought process and doesn't need to be explained why the fuck am i working on it if nobody is asking me to ? I imagine it would be a difficult conversation if the other person is not a fellow engineer. Coz for most people their jobs are just a means to put food on the table (and there is nothing wrong in that) but i just don't want to be made feel bad for actually liking my job.

If your salary is good enough or your family background is good then go with non working housewife.....you will be happy forever.
