Trending @Accenture; Soft Locking for a project and further action plan

I received a mail last thur stating I have been “soft lock” for a project (I am on bench sinch May 15). What should be the next step? Does soft lock means I have been allocated to a project? or I should look for another project? or should I reach out to someone before applying for another project?

Soft lock means you are temporary Identified for a project and it is done by project who found merit in your profile, now if any other project wants to lock you they will have to challenge your soft lock.

Im case of a challenge, first right to hard lock is with project who soft locked you.

Soft lock is just a reserve for evaluation. Keep contacting other managers.

You have been allocated to the project. You can contact project leads/manager mentioned in the mail to know more about the project you’re assigned to
