Social life in a remote job
I'm just graduating and I'm going to take on a remote job because of the pay, culture and the growth opportunities. The only thing I will miss out on is the in-office experience.
I mostly had a functioning social circle because of my friends from previous steps, but now since all of them would be joining full time jobs it's going to get really scarce except maybe the weekends.
I'm currently in Chennai, does anyone else do a remote job around my age in the city (I'm 21)? I'd like to connect with you or know What do you do to boost your social life?
Im thinking of hitting the gym, learning to play an instrument, up skill myself, try to launch some side hustles, maybe a YouTube channel.

There is no one size fits all in life. So I won't spew BS like it's important to be in the office during the initial years.
The only disadv i see is in the future if they ask you to come to office you will feel weird. So just don't take any afternoon naps. And don't watch Tv during work hours.
Make sure you work for 3 hrs at a stretch before taking breaks.
Ps. - the culture, growth you talk about, did the rangoli people feed you that BS?

Just FYI... No matter how hard you work, or even if you work all 24 hrs a day, they won't promote anybody fast. Take it slow. You need to fill your resume with time experience for any decent role.

I work maybe around 3 hours the whole day lol

Can you tell us how you landed up on that remote job? If possible, the company name?
