Slowly loosing my faith

Why isnt god listening to my prayers.

I don't even know if this is the correct place to ask about this but here I go. In 2023 as being a 23 year old male I got diagnosed with cancer. At first I blamed god as for the past 13 years I almost prayed to him everyday. Then I was like it's okay if he put me into it he will get me out after 6 painful month it went away. Starting of my cancer journey I started visiting this hanuman mandir for peace and from that day till today I visit that mandir every tuesday, I prayed to God everyday and just asked for one things that is to just not get cancer back today I recieved my regular checkup report and it's back.

My point being why me what did I even do I just asked to be not be ill again what did I even do. I never did anyone wrong. Prayed unselfishly just for a single thing everyday.

I am slowly starting to loose my belief please guide me if anyone can.

If you believe in God, you must believe in Past karma too. To the Human Brain, it seems unreasonable, but that's just how the Soul works.

God works in mysterious ways. There is light at the end of the tunnel. So, keep praying and I'm sure you will reap benefits of being a good person. Nothing goes unnoticed in the eyes of God. He knows.

Look at it this way, he wants you mentally strong for the next task that he is going to give to you. So, build that strength courage and resilience to smash the current problem

I'm very sorry to hear about your cancer. Wish you all the best for beating cancer again, and for your health.

As for belief in god, I was religious half my life, and have been an atheist for the later half. But either way, that has not made much difference to my life. My job, family life, social life, have not been much different either way.

So believe or don't believe, that's not very important. You can do either, whatever brings you hope.

The important part is to have hope. If you can have hope even while being an atheist, and without believing in god, then you don't need god and religion.

What is important right now is to be strong, and undergo your treatment, and have hope that you will beat cancer and be healthy again. Focus on that.

In my experience, belief in god and prayers don't make much difference either way, so believing or not believing is not the important part right now. Don't waste your time and energy focusing on that.

Wish you all the best for your treatment. Good luck!

I'm not a very religious person as such but I do believe that there's some higher power that looking at us. All I can say to you is that don't lose hope. Have faith. See, there are times where things might not go as per our expectations and you should be mentally strong enough to accept that and adapt. Life isn't fair at all. If prayers had 100% success rate then there wouldn't have been poverty and deaths around. What I'm trying to say is that, have some faith. Things will change, maybe it might take longer than you've expected. And if they don't, be prepared mentally and don't give up. I can understand that you're through some horrible time but be patient and don't lose hope.

So sorry for you.

There is a lot to talk.....

But I would highly suggest you to feel that you are getting better and gradually you will get better. That's related to psychology, I faced some issue in past and believing in God and psychology helped a lot.

And believe in God , you will be fit soon.

This is coming from someone who dont believe:

We are result of randomness, we never wanted to be born but we did. We are combination of our parents DNA and our interaction with the world.
With birth some people inherite money, power, god gifted skills, color, size of the limbs height etc. But some people inherit poverty, diseases, genetic disorder.

One who is richest ,most, handsome, athletic in the entire world . Just maintained and improved what he got at the starting point. So neither he is special and nor you are God's least favourite child.

We can't change some parts of our life and even our body. But we can change how we react and interpret.

Your body is like a temple, it will stay healthy if it's in that kind of environment and will get ill if the environment and the food u r consuming is not good, chk ur habbits r u eating too much processed food or any other food labelled as healthy and considering it healthy u r consuming too much of it. Don't go by brand names have ur own chks, or else ur house is situated where too much pollution is there.

Hey bro. Sorry to hear about this. But I believe that clinging to god after these type of diagnosis breaks a person even more. I have seen my dad withering away after his stroke when he stopped doing everything he once did and started solely depending on praying. These things are not in your hand. I would suggest focus more on your life than prayers. Whatever has to happen will happen. Live your life with no regrets. Sorry if I sound rude.
