Sleep time management

Earlier my sleeping time was 1am to 9am. In between I used to wake up to check on my daughter. I used to use mobile a lot.

From past 15 days I stopped using mobile phone and started going for walk in morning 5k steps. I am completely flat by 9.45pm. Now my sleep time is from 9.30pm to 7am. N I am completely in deep sleep. Y m I sleeping so much? How can I reduce it. N I am very deep sleep don't even wake up to check on my daughter.

Is it just after dinner at 9? Can’t you push your sleep time to 11.

Maybe you’re just extra tired from the walk (but it’s just 5K steps) and taking care of daughter. I’m no sleep expert, maybe Reddit or a doctor can help. Also are you waking up tired or fresh?

Maybe cuz of walk. I had very sedentary lifestyle wasn't much active for past 2 years. I am waking up fresh everyday

Okay, still try if you can sleep 1 REM cycle less. Since you don’t like sleeping for so long.

Just be consistent

Work pressure? That can increase the sleep time. Are you using any sleep trackers?

Same, earlier my schedule was 1 am to 7 am. Now it is 10 pm to 7 am. Don't know why it is happening.

I also used to use mobile a lot. Now I'm reducing it.
