SLB feature on stocks

I recently came to know about SLB(stock lending borrowing) for stocks, where we can lend or borrow stocks. While lending we can earn interest even continuing to get benefits from corporate actions like dividend for those lended stocks. Have anyone used this feature. Can you help me with pros and cons and your experience. Also, one query can we get those lended stocks back before the tenure of the lending ends somehow??
