Skills for 10+lpa offcampus

Should i consider for gate and hence mtech or high package job off campus as my on campus salaries are not high, how to be a good software engineer, what are the main skills to learn and from where?

Prefer a job if you already have a decent degree in the bag. Postgrad will not make any diff in salary plus you will lose 2 years.
For skills try asking ChatGPT or Claude.ai I should give a clear path.
