Sir in office for 9 hrs and get promoted even if u underperform
Yes I think this is what will happen in near future, because they are not looking at eligibility or performance of the employee but if he/ she is in office for less than 1 hr they are rejecting promotion. It happened with me and a colleague. My last promotion was done 7 yrs back and when the time came they rejected citing this silly reason.
I got a C band though I am a good performer but my fault is that I didn't complete sufficient time in the office also I was not visible to management so even performing well and got an appreciation from the client as well I got C band....

This is the sad reality of our times. Promotions are no longer based on merit but on how long you sit in the office. It's a flawed system that demotivates hardworking employees.

Yeah idk if there is any such thing as "policy" any more. Me and my colleague who are both eligible from past 1.5 years and visit office daily for atleast 4-5 hours are still waiting for promotion. There's no point in it anymore. We followed everything that was considered as "criteria" to get nominated. So it's pointless is what it is.

Are promotion letters released?
