Silicon Valley's Shift: Tech Investors Rally Behind Trump

  • Silicon Valley, once a liberal stronghold, sees a growing number of tech investors supporting Trump for the 2024 election.
  • Prominent figures like Elon Musk, Marc Andreessen, and Keith Rabois have publicly endorsed Trump, citing dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party's policies.
  • The shift is driven by both ideological and commercial reasons, including opposition to Biden's tax plans and regulatory measures.
  • Despite this trend, the majority of Big Tech leaders and donations still favor the Democratic Party.
  • The support for Trump reflects broader national political divides and a strategic bet on his potential victory.

Trump being geniunely moderate this time around helps his cause by a lot. Whatever he says makes absolute sense. Even for example - his stances on extremely conservative topics of abortion - it's upto the state and states are voting based on it.

Very difficult to oppose someone who's pro their country, signs up for less wars, lowers tax slabs, calls out that the focus is the citizens and not anybody else in the world, progressive on new technology and so on.
