So i was not getting proper details from past few days and today my manager is lashing at me for not working like what the fuck he knew all this time that I wasn't getting the details i informed him how is it my mistake I am so angry how can he lash out at me
What I learnt so far, and things I follow:
- If you want to get any details, ask over mail and schedule auto follow up emails on Outlook.
- If no response after 2 follow up mention your manager in mail and ask to escalate.
- Anything that manager tells in meeting send it over mail as MOM.
- If even after having mails, manager is lashing you lash back on him for not escalating the issue enough causing delay in getting details!
- There can be a scenario where deadline are preponed, if you have multiple tasks on your plate, you can say its not possible to meet as you already have other priority tasks on plate(mails will be helpful as proof) ask him to choose most priority tasks between all priority tasks, this way you won't be overburdened..
This is a normal day for any employee.
If you are not getting details then you have to get the details and get the work done buddy.. this is quite common scenario. Don't get embarrassed with what had happened and just learn from it. If you need something and ask and get it done and don't hesitate to ask things. Whoever in IT will be proactive and smart will survive long.
