Shreyas Doshi's advice not really applicable in India IMO

His stuff about stakeholder alignment and structured decisions sounds good in theory, but in practice, we're often just firefighting with vague objectives and sudden shifts from the top. It just... feels too idealistic for the real chaos in Indian companies.

Nope, stakeholder alignment is necessary and so is structured decisions, since you don’t have these that’s why you are always in firefighting mode.

Not sure about your experience or company you work for but I have seen both sides and I do agree with Shreyas. Even early stage startup should have these, let alone big orgs. Sudden shifts can be due to market shifts or priority changes and may not mean there isn’t a stakeholder alignment or structured decision.

Both these two bring clarity and helps product. Not sure which company you work for or how much work experience you have but I have seen both things and I do agree on what he says.
