Trending @Cognizant; Show cause email from HR for not coming to office while on bench in CTS

I got show cause email from HR that I haven't reported to office during bench period. I have replied over that email saying due to medical condition I could go to office. But I haven't informed them earlier just applied leaves.

What could happen in this case?
