Trending @Cognizant; Should we file legal complaint against the bench policy?
I got hired in some project and the project got ramp down during transition phase. I am on bench since then. Not getting a single call or message and now they are asking me to leave. I donot work a single day in the company and it is none months now. Should I go ahead and file a legal complaint against company because this is somewhat playing with someone's carrier. I am fedup with the bench policy.
Yes, we should...they are playing with everyone's mental health...they keep on hiring even though they don't have many projects. Hiring-Firing. They are torturing up to Pa levels so badly, treating like shit.
It's not like that, He should have gotten a project.

Bench policy of cognizant is worst… I joined cognizant on 2022 and they trained me for mearn stack amd later there was no project so again they trained me in oracle DB technologies. But again they allocated me to a project where i was a shadow for two months and then got released. After two years being part of cognizant i had no experience. And later at june 2024 they asked me resign.
If you do file a complaint then it would be great!!! But before that please go through the documents which you have signed while joining cognizant.
It will waste of time and money if you have signed on something which states that company can ask you to leave if you are in bench for certain duration.
Just trying to save ur time and money here
