Trending @Accenture; Should we believe what accenture Management offer for retaining the resource ?
I have resigned from company and I am getting an average hike in other company. What if Accenture HR / manager tries to retain me by promising promotion in next cycle or onsite role or both.Should I believe them or leave.

One was retained successfully with promises fulfilled in 2022 Another was promised a lot but were not fulfilled in 2023 march Other one was promised a lot but was rather put into pip later once he took resignation back… your decision now
What’s the purpose when they value your worth now when you decided to leave. They should have given promotion realising your importance and not because of their headache to hire new resource. It takes effort to bring new resources.
You are really fool if you believe them !! You will get babaji ki thullu 😅 promotion hikes depends on lot of factors !! Don’t take back , you will loose respect for sure !
Don't believe.They can only nominate.If There is no budget then no hike /promotion.
Writing in very raw words - thook ke mat chaato. It means don't believe them, they are not able to do justice to the best of the best who are long awaiting for their promotion, yours is definitely less important for them.
@FeistyDedication - if your hike in the other company is a paltry 20-30% only, then it is better to get retained by asking the same hike. Never get retained on the promise of an onsite role. A promotion is a better way to get retained. The only caveat is that you must have a good understanding with your supervisor/people lead to believe him/her if they are asking you to wait for 3-4 months for promotion. But if you have got a hike which is like 60-80% then there is no way that Accenture would be able to retain you which in this case you move out.

Never believe anything HR or the manager says. Unless you are an integral part and the company or team will fall without you, never trust. Promotions and hikes are subjective and are totally at someone else's discretion. No manager will give you anything in writing.
