Should India have boycotted Asia Cup?

I can observe many people of the opinion that India should have boycotted Asia Cup. As from the matches played, one can conclude that India is a far better team than others.

Pak, the way they played, one may argue that they were the 2nd best team and they won all their games, except against India (lost thrice) meaning that they may be better than all other teams, but still way behind India.

So, if India would've boycotted, Pak was the most probable winner, taking their current standing to 4 as compared to India's 8 (currently 9). If this boycott continues for next 10-15 years or more, Pak may even surpass the tally of India and they would go whining on each and every corner of the world that they have more Asia Cups than India.

This may present to someone who doesn't watch cricket much, that Pak is a better cricket team than India.

Is this what India should do going forward (handing over victory without even fighting), or should we continue playing such ICC tournaments to establish our dominance?

Note - I'm utterly anguished because of the Pahalgam Terror attack, but just wanted to know here what are other people's thoughts on this. No offence or disrespect please!
