Should India bid for the Olympics 2036?

Some say - "Olympics for third world countries are NOT ECONOMICALLY VIABLE.

Nations have gone in HUGE debts for holding these games

We do not have infrastructure nor the money to host them, it’s not worth it.

Let it go, develop the nation first"

We can host,

If we have the following by 2036

The infrastructure within and between cities to support the foreign players and tourists
Significant change in sports infrastructure, sports governing bodies and the training infrastructure
Equitable growth in GDP - more drastic improvement in per capita income of the poor and the middle class

2036 isn't that far it's just 12 years, to host the Olympics India needs to become an economic miracle like China. Which is not impossible but insanely difficult given the current environment
