Should I write GMAT

I am planning to give the GMAT this year. My Target B-school is ISB- Hyderabad I am 24. I graduated from NIT Nagpur in 2021. Since then working as a software developer Work ex of 2.5 years in the software industry.

My main intention is to shift out from the software industry and get into consulting role

If I have a good GMAT is it possible to get into ISB given that I am from IT domain.

You can't target ISB Hyderabad. Never say this in interviews if you get a shortlist. You can target ISB. Campus decisions are decided by the school and not by merit: it's random.

Why do you want to switch to consulting? Isn’t the pay higher in tech?

Gone with same thought process. Even though it is harsh i realizes i can grow in it. Also my academics doesnt help me in mba

Sorry for delayed reply. I realied mgmt wasnt the stuff i am interested right now. Though after 2 3 yrs i may go for the same as my future plans are for creating my own org
