Should I wait for promotion or switch?

Hello Reader,

I am 25M and joined TCS as a fresher in August 2021 at TCS Digital post. I was told that post-completion of my 3 years I will be promoted to IT Analyst. But after speaking with a lot of my peers I found out that the promotion is not that smooth. So my questions are:

1. Will I be eligible for promotion after 3 years for a digital candidate like me?
2. I am a Sailpoint Developer, and I need to study materials to be able to write codes and rules.
3. Currently my CTC is around 8.5 lpa, if I switch what should be my least expectations?
