Should I use different resume for different position

So I have been applying to mostly backend engineer position, SDE and should I have different resume one with entire backend stack Java,python and all but basic project or one resume but with good projects that includes data science, backend, frontend

Why is this an either-or poll?

You should have a different resume per each different role that you’re applying for, and each resume should ideally have good projects related to that specific role.

Because I am just starting out applying and I am still in college so I don't have that much knowledge that it will actually make a big difference while applying that's why it was a poll
