should i take the offer?

just started my 4th year (chemical engg) and have a PPO from a HFT firm, I'm not sure about the culture of the firm, I think things could be a bit structured and it's not as intellectually stimulating as I thought it would be and honestly don't think I'd want to stick around there for a long time, hence I'm a bit sceptical.

It's more than any SDE offer you will get in current market. A headstart in quant can help you in many ways. Transitioning to quant later is hard but transitioning to SWE from quant later is gonna be piece of cake.
