Trending @Cognizant; Should I take a release from my current project?
I'm a PA working in EPS PEGA, in a BAU team. My work although not too complex except for few outliers, is relatively BS. My manager is someone very toxic and likes to rap battle in anger, he's good with leaves and all. But few things he won't take no for an answer and he really likes to suck up to clients so much so you might want to suggest them to get a room. From the moment I received all access to the application, every 7-8 days some BS happens because some other pushed a faulty code and the work comes snowballing on us and we need to remediate it within the day (even it means working 12-15 hours a day, no extra pay or comp) because the client "needs it done in a day". Lately because of few mistakes(minute, did not affect anyone) he's threatening to bench me(he doesn't know how to talk to non clients), which would be great if he did it nicely without any fuss but he might try to sabotage me by leaving a bad review which might affect my onboarding to other projects or at worse put me in PIP. I'm too nervous to work normally now fearing mistakes and ultimately the screaming and I'm not getting more demotivated to work in this project every passing day. And I'm not billable yet( there is someone in the project who's not billable even after 1 year working in it) so I'm not hopeful about it. I don't know what to do, please suggest.
