Should I switch?

I have been working as a SDE 1 at my current company for over a year. I am fairly confident that I will get promoted in the April review cycle. I was hired into a team which worked on a service from scratch. Now after a year the service has reached stability and there is not much left to do. I feel very bored at work and I am losing motivation to work. I am confused if I should wait for a few months and switch after I get promoted so that I can move into a SDE 2 role at the new org or should I switch now and then wait for a year at the new company for the promotion
