Trending @Wipro; Should I stay to gain more experience ?
I joined Wipro in the year 2022 as a Velocity candidate with CTC 6.5LPA. My current band is B1. After 6month struggle from my joining date, I got into an Azure API integration project. I’ve struggled to understand the technology at first. But, as time passed by, I can able to develop and deliver the tasks much better. For me, all things are going great as of now.
But, I feel I’m being paid low for the work I’m delivering. All of my project members are designated as senior developers and I’m almost as similar knowledgeable as them now. Should I explore for any opportunities outside or Should I keep my mouth shut for asking such a silly question 😅 Please suggest me my dear wiproites 😄
Their designation should not bother you. They may have worked more years or companies than you. You should be only focusing on your salary and your work. If you don't feel you are paid right for the work you do, look for other opportunities.
Have an open discussion with your manager on what is required to be promoted. Take the feedback in a positive way to know your gaps
Always be in search of something better, keep assessing yourself and give interviews so that you understand the market
