Should I stay in hall with the people I know or Completely alone with strangers?

Earlier I was living with someone from my college only and this place was at a decent distance from both of our offices. We bought stuff and everything was going smooth.

Then his friend came to live with us, I knew him from college, he cracked the job in the same company.

I went home for diwali and now after I came back yesterday, they said, they don't wanna live here with me anymore and wanna look for a place somewhere else.

I understand, and this was expected. Now I have two choices.

Live in the hall in the same building with people of my college in 3BHK. Almost same level of expenses here.

Or

Look for a single occupancy here in the same society, and visit my college peers for random talks and bakchodi. Expected expenses to be around 28k

Or

Look for a single occupancy near my office, but the place will be completely alone without anyone I know. I will be in a loneliness trap, same as in college with no one talk too, as I take time trusting people. Expenses around 28k
