Should I resign without offer in hand?
Hey Grapevine folks, currently I am working as a SDE at a company for around 4 months which I'm not liking that much. It's too restricted (access, approvals) and it's more like coordinating with people rather than actually building something. On top of that, my manager seems weird. He's a good guy, I know for sure but seems like his managing skills are not that good (or I don't know, could be pressure at his end as well), it just feels like he's kinda micromanaging.
The work is also not that great, just building wrapper APIs, the learning curve is too short.
Now you might have a question, why not just find a new job and then leave. That's the problem, I just don't feel good here. I keep thinking about what I'll say in tomorrow's standup, what'll happen if this happens and all the work related bs.
If I could leave tomorrow after resigning I would have done it, but my notice period is 1 month, which kind of gives some time to look out for another job.
Given, 1 month notice, switching within 4 months and the previous company got shutdown where also I got to stay for only 6 months (but yes before the previous one I stayed for 2 years), what do you guys think my decision should be?
Total experience: Almost 3 years Compensation: 25 LPA
