Trending @Infosys; Should i resign now or wait till march end?
Hi there,
I want to switch as i spent 3.1 year in infy now it's hight time to change. But while saying salary is very low currently. I got "commendable " rating plus i completed 3 years in dec means march i should get progression. So what should i do shall i wait till march end then resign or in feb end i should resign as i need to spend 3 months in a notice period. I am little confuse
You will get promotion not progression, your salary will increase if you are promoted to JL 4. Your salary will be at least 5LPA, which will be a plus, so even if you ask for a 100% hike your salary in new company will be 10 LPA.
If you are sure that you will be getting a promotion you can wait and then resign after you get promoted.
If you resign after getting promoted you will also get 3 month payslips with updated salary.

wait till the hike,but you can start giving interviews as there is no surity of cracking it in one go and sometimes there is issue in interviews schedule calls also.So start preparing for interviews and start giving ,until you get offer letter,all this hike things will also be known to you.
Yeah I am giving interviews. But 3 month notice period is major issue.
